Interpretive Carts

Open Opportunity

About

Whether you have a passion for geology, a knack for biology, an interest in physics, or just a desire to learn new things and share them with others, we want you as a volunteer at our Interpretive Carts! Use biofacts and hands-on demonstrations to educate guests of all ages about a variety of science and natural history topics including paleontology, oceanography, archaeology, and more!

An orientation and background check will be required prior to beginning service. All facilitators are required to either attend a separate training session or shadow a more experienced volunteer prior to working on their own. Materials will be provided by the Volunteer Office as necessary. Volunteers must be over the age of 18 and will be asked to adhere to a basic dress code, including a nametag and Fernbank polo.
