Susan G. Komen East Central Texas

The mission of Susan G. Komen¨ East Central Texas is the local source of funding for breast health services, breast cancer education and outreach in our seventeen county service area; Anderson, Bell, Bosque, Cherokee, Coryell, Ellis, Falls, Freestone, Henderson, Hill, Kaufman, Limestone, Mclennan, Milam Navarro, Smith and Van Zandt counties.. Through events like the Komen Central Texas Race for the Cure¨ and the Komen Tyler Race for the Cure¨, Komen East Central Texas keeps 75 percent of net proceeds to fund lifesaving breast health services to help uninsured and underinsured residents in the fight today. WeÕre also helping to save the lives of your children and grandchildren through the 25 percent of funding we send to national research to fund of cutting-edge research to find the cures so that future generations will not have to face this devastating disease.
